Curved zip stands are great for drawing attention to the center of your booth. Positioning your product in the middle with a curved display will allow the product to shine. A straight zip stand is great for creating atmosphere in your booth by having a backdrop that blends well with the overall design of the booth. A straight zip stand also gives more space in the booth to add more product examples. Here are some examples of customers using straight and curved zip stands.
Curved Backdrop – Draws Attention to Center
If you are trying to showcase something or are trying to find a way to have a lot of consumers talk to you, the curved zip stand is the way to go. It takes up a little more space in the booth, but it creates a welcoming environment that naturally draws attention to the center of the booth.
We love the way (GTD Travel) used the curved zip stand to draw consumers in to interact with their booth. The display area isn’t overly cluttered with handouts because the zip stand takes the place of brochures, which in turn completely opens the display area. The open space with the tables pushed to the side also allow enough space for customers to step into the booth to read the backdrop and speak with a representative.
Curved Backdrop – Unique Look
Curved backdrops can be a little more attention grabbing due to their abnormal shape. Pairing the curved zip with striking graphics is a sure way to make your booth stand out.
An example of a nontraditional way to use a curved zip stand is how (Learnosity) took advantage of this seating area. They use a bright red color for their curved zip stand to stand out against the dark black color being used in their other printed materials. The curved zip stand hugs the back of the table which gives the booth a more inclusive feel, and the bright graphics stand out while still being informational as well.
Straight Backdrops – Creates Atmosphere
If you are looking for a zip stand that makes a nice background but doesn’t distract from the product, a straight zip stand works perfectly.
Here (Fire Fence) has done an amazing job of using a zip stand to balance their booth. The zip stand blends into the background of the booth, so the merchandise is the focus. They use a darker color scheme and bright center focus that enhances the product and makes it look like it’s glowing. It’s attention grabbing and gives the product a more realistic feel.
Straight Backdrop – Extra Booth Space
A benefit of having a straight backdrop is it doesn’t take up much space. They are able to be pushed up against the back of the booth allowing ample space to invite customers into the booth and be fully immersed in your company’s product.
Here (TCX) uses straight zip stands to elegantly showcase their products. The middle is a clean and neat background that displays their logo, and the side zips display scenes of their product in action. The backdrop allows enough room for customers to step inside and shop the product and the design completely goes along with the exciting product they sell.
Remember, you don’t always need a lot in your booth. More isn’t always more. You want your signage to tie into your booth in a balanced way. We hope that these examples provided as well as our video, located here, will give you a better understanding of which product would work best for your needs.
